Streets trainers advert
For my 'street trainers advert' I have decided to create a comfortable, casual trainer that people can wear in every day occasions. The main image of my advert is a plain black trainer, this shows the consumer the type of product I am advertising. I have used this image because it is plain and simple which is exactly what I want the audience to see. The image of the trainer shows that the product is casual as well as nice to look at. I used graffiti as the main font in the advert, with this I was trying to show that the trainers are for everyday use rather than what ordinary trainers would be used for (sports etc) . The audience can see from the font type that the trainers are stylish and something they can wear when they are out with their friends. This text type communicates that the product is fashionable and stylish rather than conventional, showing that they are a fashion item rather than sports wear. The background I have used in my advertisement features an ally way with graffiti on the walls as well as the pavement. It gives the look that it is three dimensional making my product look as though it is jumping off the page. This attracts the audience as it draws the eye to it. I have used this background because it makes it look as though the trainer belongs in the surroundings. This gives the audience the impression that the product can be used anywhere. It also appeals to those who care about what other people think of their fashion when they are out with their friends etc.
The message I have tried to put across in my advert is that the product I have created is stylish and fashionable unlike ordinary trainers which are usually used for sporting reason. I have portrayed this message through the use of images, back ground and font type. The trainers are for people that want something comfortable to wear on their feet without having to buy trainers that are meant for sports. My target audience is teenagers from the age 13 to about 18. I have picked this target audience because it is between these ages is when a person is most conscious about their fashion.
